Scope:

• We are looking for an experienced Microsoft Security Governance Architect to lead the security domain of a large-scale Microsoft 365 Governance Framework programme.
• The ideal candidate combines deep expertise in Microsoft security technologies with strong governance, risk, and compliance experience. You will be responsible for assessing the organization’s security posture across Microsoft 365, identifying gaps, defining target-state architectures, and developing strategic remediation roadmaps aligned with business and regulatory requirements.
• Key areas of responsibility include Microsoft Defender XDR, Microsoft Entra ID, Identity & Access Governance, Conditional Access, Privileged Identity Management (PIM), Zero Trust architecture, security monitoring, threat protection, and security operations.
• You will conduct security assessments, review governance and operating models, support decision-making bodies, and ensure alignment with industry frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIS2, GDPR, NIST CSF, CIS Benchmarks, and Microsoft security best practices.
• The role requires strong stakeholder management and consulting skills, with the ability to translate complex technical findings into actionable recommendations for both technical and executive audiences. Experience designing governance frameworks, control models, and enterprise-scale Microsoft security architectures is highly desirable.
