• Role: SAP Project Manager / PMO Lead
• Location: Berlin, Germany
• Workload: Full-time
• 20 % on-site; 80 % remote

• Duration: 12 months + extensions

Scope:

The rollout will cover 12 EU countries, involve approximately 80 end users, and include B2B processes. Project and IT documentation will be maintained in English.

The role will focus on managing an SAP Public Cloud implementation project in accordance with the SAP Activate methodology, including governance, planning, status reporting, risk and dependency management, and the coordination of both functional and technical workstreams.

• Overall responsibility for project management, governance, and delivery management
• Planning and managing all SAP Activate phases, from Prepare to Run
• Developing and maintaining the project plan, including milestones, dependencies, and resource allocation
• Managing mobilization, Fit-to-Standard workshops, realization, testing, deployment, and hypercare activities
• Organizing and facilitating status meetings, steering committees, and PMO routines
• Managing risks, issues, scope, dependencies, and change requests
• Coordinating the functional workstreams: Finance, Source-to-Pay, and Lead-to-Cash
• Managing country-specific UAT activities across 12 EU countries
• Ensuring project quality, quality gates, and decision documentation
• Coordinating with business departments, key users, IT teams, implementation partners, and management
• Ensuring that all project and IT documentation is prepared in English

Skills:

• Strong knowledge of SAP FI
• Several years of experience as an SAP Project Manager in SAP transformation or implementation projects
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud and GROW with SAP
• Solid knowledge of the SAP Activate methodology
• Experience with the Fit-to-Standard approach and Public Cloud implementations
• Experience in international or multi-country SAP projects
• Experience in project planning, governance, status reporting, and risk and dependency management
• A basic understanding of the SAP modules and business processes related to FI, CO, MM, and SD
• Excellent German language skills for conducting full-day on-site workshops
• Good to very good English language skills for project and IT documentation
• Nice to have experience with SAP Cloud ALM (CALM); SAP Activate Project Manager certification; experience with SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition Quality Gates, experience with B2B business processes, experience with test management, cutover, go-live, and hyper care; experience with data migration, integration, or code modernization assessments; Experience working with external implementation partners and distributed project teams
